my head in the duty free wondering what this faux leather bagged beauty
was. bought a bottle and can definitely now say i wish i had bought a few
more for storage. this is a nice bourbon. definitely more alcoholic than
the house JB but with some interesting flavors. right up front the nose has
a deep vanilla tone, with , crazy enough, hints of banana. first mouthful
hits mid tongue with a sweet pecan/ almond attack followed by a smooth,
rolling smokey cherry/apple caramel development and finish. Hard to really
capture this one but it lingers and changes enough to keep it thoughtful.
if I can get out of the country again soon this one will be sure to have
some extra company in my bourbon locker!
