Woodford Reserve Double Double Oaked Returns for 2026 at $199.99
The Distillery Series cult finish — Double Oaked rested two more years in a second toasted/lightly charred barrel — is back at 90.4 proof for about two hundred bucks.
Woodford Reserve’s most indulgent double-barrel expression is back on the shop shelf. Double Double Oaked — born in the Distillery Series in 2015 — finishes fully mature Woodford Reserve Double Oaked for two additional years in a second, heavily toasted, lightly charred new oak barrel, then bottles at 90.4 proof (45.2% ABV).
Official tasting notes lean dessert-cabinet: roasted coffee bean color; maple, dark butterscotch, brittle caramel, bittersweet chocolate, burnt marshmallow, and hickory smoke on the nose; dried cherry, cranberry, blackberry jam, ripe apple, chai, and clove on the palate; a warm, drying clove finish. Suggested retail is $199.99 for 700ml via shop.woodfordreserve.com (shipping currently limited to KY, NH, ND, NE, and D.C.), with a two-bottle purchase cap.
Compared with core Double Oaked’s sweeter profile, Woodford pitches DDO as spicier and more oak-forward — the pour for drinkers who already emptied a Double Oaked and wanted the barrel conversation to keep going.
