FAQ

Short answers about how Bourbon Buzz works.

Who is Bourbon Buzz for?

Adults 21 and older who care about bourbon whiskey — releases, the Kentucky Bourbon Trail, recipes, and keeping track of bottles. We are editorial only: we do not sell or ship alcohol.

What’s the difference between Buzz and Buzzfeed?

Buzz is our original editorial archive — stories we write and publish. Buzzfeed is a separate wire of industry headlines from trusted RSS sources (Trail news, writers, trade press). Wire items never mix into Buzz or the homepage Latest list.

How does the events calendar work?

The calendar lists tastings, festivals, and Trail-related dates — refreshed from Kentucky Bourbon Trail® listings (and related sources) twice daily. Open a day to see details and photos when we have them.

Are Brands the same as Tags?

No. Brands are a bourbon brand catalog (distilleries and labels you can browse and follow). Tags are content topics on stories (for example cocktail or festival themes). Use search to look across both posts and brands.

Why are recipes separate from cocktail-tagged news?

The recipes section shows the recipes category — drinks and food posts meant for the kitchen or bar cart. News pieces that merely mention cocktails stay in Buzz so the recipe index stays usable.

Do I need an account?

No. Reading, search, calendar, recipes, and brands are public. An account (21+) unlocks a personal bottle collection, brand follows, and optional Buzz email preferences.

Do you sell or ship bourbon?

No. Some product links may be affiliate links (for example Amazon). If you buy through those links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Retailers handle payment and shipping under their own policies. See our Terms and Privacy Policy.

How do I contact you or request account deletion?

Use the contact form. Privacy and deletion requests are welcome there; confirm you are 21+ when you write.

How can brands or tourism partners work with you?

See Partners for sponsorship ideas (Buzz mentions, calendar co-features, Trail context). We only say yes when the fit is honest for readers.
