1. Acceptance
By accessing or using bourbonbuzz.com (the “Site”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
2. Age requirement
The Site is intended only for individuals who are 21 years of age or older. By using the Site — including creating an account, verifying age, tracking a collection, or following brands — you represent that you are at least 21. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you do not meet this requirement.
3. What Bourbon Buzz is
Bourbon Buzz provides editorial content about bourbon whiskey, a wire of third-party headlines, an events calendar, brand and recipe guides, search and topic tags, and optional personal tools (such as a bottle collection and brand follows). We do not sell, ship, or fulfill alcohol. Content is for information and personal use only and is not legal, medical, or investment advice. Drink responsibly where legal.
4. Third-party and wire content
Buzzfeed wire items, calendar listings, and some images are sourced from third parties (including RSS feeds and tourism or industry sites). Titles, summaries, and links are provided for convenience; ownership remains with the original publishers. We do not control those external sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, or policies. Follow outbound links at your own risk.
5. Affiliate links and partners
Some product links on the Site (including Amazon and retailers such as Preet’s Liquors) are affiliate links. If you click and buy, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We may also feature paid or trade partnerships with brands, festivals, or tourism partners; when we do, we will disclose the relationship in a clear way. Affiliate and partner links do not mean we sell or ship alcohol ourselves.
6. Accounts
You may create an account with an email address and password. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and notify us if you suspect unauthorized use. We may refuse, suspend, or close accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for the Site or other users.
7. Your content and collection data
Notes, ratings, and other information you add to your collection or account remain yours. You grant us a limited license to host and display that data as needed to operate the features you use. Do not submit unlawful, infringing, or abusive content. Messages you send through the contact form may be stored so we can respond.
8. Intellectual property
Site branding, design, and original editorial content are owned by Bourbon Buzz or its licensors. You may not copy, scrape, or redistribute substantial portions of the Site without permission, except for ordinary personal browsing and fair-use quotation with attribution. Third-party names, marks, and product images belong to their owners.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Site: no unauthorized access, disruption, automated scraping that burdens the service, malware, or attempts to bypass age or security controls. Do not use the Site to promote unlawful alcohol sales or underage drinking.
10. Disclaimers
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that content (including calendars, wire headlines, and catalog data) is complete or current. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bourbon Buzz disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bourbon Buzz and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100).
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
