Old Forester President’s Choice Returns for National Bourbon Day 2026
Bourbon and rye single barrels, 7–9 years and 110–125 proof, hit nationwide June 13 at $225 — timed to National Bourbon Day and the Main Street distillery’s eighth anniversary.

Old Forester’s rarest annual single-barrel program is back for National Bourbon Day week. President’s Choice Bourbon and President’s Choice Rye ship nationally in limited quantities starting June 13 — also the eighth anniversary of the Main Street distillery’s opening — at $225 suggested retail each.

The label still traces to private barrels George Garvin Brown II offered in 1964. Master Taster Melissa Rift and Assistant Master Distiller Caleb Trigo describe barrel-by-barrel tasting for maturity and character; this year’s casks land between seven and nine years at 110–125 proof. Rye returns for a second consecutive year beside the bourbon.
Distillery and shop.oldforester.com drops open 10 a.m. ET June 13 for shipping-legal states (D.C., KY, NE, NH, ND). Nationwide retail follows in thin slices. If Birthday Bourbon is the crowd calendar event, President’s Choice is the single-barrel hunt inside the same Brown-Forman week.
