This bourbon is made with bloody butcher corn, which grows a deep maroon and generally brings a bit more of a grounded sweetness in a whiskey. The smell off the top is a bit lighter than expected for a 100 proof bourbon, but sweet and inviting with some creme brulee caramelized sugar wafting off the top of the corn mash you expect.
