Brother’s Bond Bourbon Now Served On JetBlue

Brother’s Bond is now pouring on JetBlue. The inflight serve is a 50ml pour of the straight bourbon. That whiskey uses four grains — corn, rye, wheat, and barley malt — and carries a minimum age of four years. Co-founders Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley described the partnership as a way for travelers to come across the bottle away from a bar.

The Whiskey Reviewer points out that once domestic flights stopped giving drinks away, the whiskey actually on the cart started to matter more. Brother’s Bond is treating the JetBlue deal as that kind of introduction, not as a new expression.
