Henderson Sex Spying Fallout Keeps Getting Worse

Richard Thomas writes for The Whiskey Reviewer that the week after a family lawsuit against Angel’s Envy co-founder Wes Henderson became public, the consequences kept piling up. Relatives sued him in June, alleging he placed hidden cameras in a Florida holiday house, in private homes, and at the Kentucky Castle Hotel to make illicit recordings.

Henderson was removed as CEO of TKC Distilling, the company behind the True Story brand, and replaced by his son Kyle. He also stepped away, without pay, from the Oldham County deputy coroner job. The Department of Homeland Security’s Louisville office is reviewing the alleged recordings, including those said to have been made at the Kentucky Castle, rather than leaving the matter only to Woodford or Oldham authorities. In Louisville, Burn Boot Camp’s corporate office has taken over four gyms owned by his wife, Julie Henderson, while a separate inquiry looks at whether cameras were placed there as well.
